Ever thought of combining Visayas and Mindanao in one trip? Imagine if you can fly in to Cebu, travel south to Dumaguete, and take a convenient sea trip to Zamboanga.

A shipping company has recently introduced a new service that makes traveling between Dumaguete and Dapitan more convenient. FastCat's Dumaguete-Dapitan services cuts travel time by half, opening this part of Zamboanga -- the city where Jose Rizal was exiled before his execution -- to more tourism traffic.

FastCat's Dumaguete-Dapitan service only takes 2.5 hours up to 3 hours versus the 4-5 hours travel time offered by other shipping companies.

FastCat's first trip in the morning leaves Dumaguete at 6:00 a.m. and Dapitan at 10:00 a.m. Plying thrice daily, its last trip from Dumaguete leaves at 10:00 p.m. and Dapitan at 2:00 a.m.

This daily schedule allows maximum flexibility for tourists between the two emerging destinations.
