Microtel Cabanatuan teams up with panizza maker
Cabanatuan, the city dubbed as the country's "tricycle capital" but interestingly called "Cab", is proving to be the next stop for gastronomic travelers plying Central Luzon.
Over the past years, several restaurants and cafes have opened across the city, most notably with the launching of two malls last year.
Microtel by Wyndham Cabanatuan, Cab's only internationally affiliated hotel, has rode the momentum and recently beefed up its F&B offer by teaming up with homegrown restaurant brand Bistro 360 to serve breakfast, room service, and banquet needs to its customers.
Bistro 360 is one of Cabanatuan's popular restaurants and serves dishes from various foreign cuisines, fitting into Microtel's profile as an international hotel brand managed by Filipinos.
Guests checking in at Microtel Cabanatuan will find Bistro 360's popular selections such as panizzas, Angus beef steaks, and Filipino dishes.
Its panizza -- a rectangular pizza whose slices are rolled with alfalfa -- are a hit at Bistro 360's main branch in Cabanatuan. Another selection is the 5-Cheese Pizza, utilizing ingredients like white cheese that is local to a carabao-rich province like Nueva Ecija.
Bistro 360 at Microtel occupies a space that can easily be converted into a function room with about 120-person capacity.
It is among the many food stops that the Outrigger team has visited this March to profile the booming restaurant scene not only in the city but in neighboring towns and cities as well.
